The Breakaways!

We were thrilled to have the amazingly talented band, The Breakaways, entertain residents, their loved ones and staff. The fantastic band played an assortment of hits from the 1950s and 60s, which had us dancing and singing along. The talented group played an assortment of instruments that sparked memories and conversations all afternoon.

Gladys said, "They were just wonderful. A bunch of very talented musicians. How lovely that they came and played for us".

It was fabulous to hear all about how the band started and their various performances on Heritage Open Days. We can't wait to have them join us again!

It was an amazing day, helped by the glorious sunshine but especially the talents of all the performers.
